Welcome to the Shuv Show. I'm your host, Christene Jackman. Still recovering from Covid-19, having a couple weird post symptoms, fatigue still hanging on. Great opportunity to snuggle up in my favorite comfy chair, put on some nature sounds to trick my brain into forgetting that it's grey and cold out.
It's a relaxing audio backdrop, necessary to unlock my creativity and let my mind explore and ponder.

Here's something I've been wondering: why is it so hard for some "believers" to believe that God created the universe in 6 days—6 literal days? Like an unpopular kid hanging on the fringe of the cool crowd, desperate to fit in, they run after the opinions and theories of atheists and skeptics regarding how the world was formed. Now, I love science and adore watching nature documentaries, but I so wish they would stop presenting evolution as fact—and change over time—billions of years, as if it were uncontested actuality. Those are theories. Let's be honest. These people were not there when these things happened. Carbon dating can be inaccurate, etc. Go on a tour of Grand Canyon and you'll hear that it was formed by this river over millions of years. And then we see after the eruption of Mount St Helen, a similar style canyon formed in mere days! Hello. Yes. The earth and universe were created in 6 Days. Yes, there was a global flood. Yes, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities of the plains were destroyed by fire and brimstone. You can pick out balls of nearly pure sulfur from the ashen walls to this day. Sulfur of this level of purity can only be achieved by extreme fiery heat. At each of these accounts and more, there was Someone who was there: God, our Creator. And He inspired the writers of Scripture to record what happened.

Some say, "Yes, God created the world, but not in 6 literal days. A day was not a day back then. It really took millions, even billions, of years." Or whatever they claim. They are kowtowing to the secular views of the world.
Personally, I believe God means what He says . . ."
