Kaiju No. 8 ep. 2 part 1

In this episode we kick off with a scene, from the past featuring childhood pals Mina and Kafka. In the time Mina updates her members in the Third Division about a kaiju sighting at a hospital stressing the importance of taking it down. The news of the kaiju spreads throughout Yokohama via alarms and broadcasts. At the time Kafka and Reno both receive letters confirming their success in the stage of examinations for the Defense Force. However Kafkas unexpected transformation into a kaiju adds a layer of complexity, to their situation.
