The very first public court hearing of nazi crimes took place between July 14th and July 17th in the city of Krasnodar, USSR.

Eleven Soviet citizens were convicted of collaborating with the Germans and carrying out crimes against Soviet citizens. Eight of them were sentenced to death by hanging and three were sentenced to 20 years of hard labor camps.
