"The Green Cockatoo" (also known as "Four Dark Hours" and "Race Gang") is a British drama thriller film released in 1937, directed by William Cameron Menzies. The plot follows an innocent young woman who arrives in London and becomes entangled in a dangerous world of criminals and police after witnessing a murder. A Soho entertainer, who is the brother of the victim, tries to protect her as they become embroiled in a series of chases and fights. The film stars John Mills as the entertainer, Rene Ray as the young woman, and Robert Newton as the victim.
