"The Gamma People" is a British-American science fiction film released in 1956, directed by John Gilling. The plot follows two journalists who become stranded in a fictional Eastern European country ruled by a dictator conducting gamma ray experiments on children to create either geniuses or obedient soldiers. As they uncover the truth, they race against time to expose the dictator's sinister plot and rescue the children from his clutches. The film stars Paul Douglas as Mike Wilson, Eva Bartok as Paula Wendt, and Leslie Phillips as Howard Meade.
