"The Brain Eaters" is an American science fiction horror film released in 1958, directed by Bruno VeSota. The plot follows the inhabitants of a small town who begin to disappear after a strange object is discovered. It is soon revealed that alien parasites are attaching themselves to people's brains, controlling their minds and turning them into mindless drones. A small group of survivors must fight to stop the alien invasion and save humanity. The film stars Ed Nelson, Alan Frost, and Joanna Lee, with a brief appearance by Leonard Nimoy.
