Search teams rescued nine crew members, mostly Indians, and recovered one body after an oil tanker, the MT Prestige Falcon, capsized in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Oman, Omani state media reported Wednesday.

The tanker capsized late Monday about 25 nautical miles southeast of Ras Madrakah, according to Oman’s Maritime Security Agency.

The cause of the incident and the condition of the tanker and its cargo are still unknown.

The Indian Navy, which dispatched a warship to assist, cited rough seas and strong winds as challenges for the rescue teams, ABC News has reported.
