Inspect the Roof:

Look for missing, damaged, or loose shingles that could allow water to penetrate the roof.

Check for signs of wear such as curling or cracking shingles.

Inspect flashing around chimneys, vents, and skylights for signs of damage or deterioration.

Check for leaks in the attic after heavy rain or snow.
