Celebrating its 50th year, the Michigan Brown Trout Festival

The event will be held at Alpena Marina in Alpena from tomorrow through Sunday, the 28th, featuring three entertainment tents. The tournament includes various contests, such as the kids’ offshore tournament, ladies’ classic, and the Super Tournament, which has a first-place prize of $10,000. Additionally, there is a $4,500 prize for catching a specially tagged and planted brown trout known as “Big Brownie,” which has only been caught once in the tournament’s history, back in 2017.
