2 police officers phoned into a "blanket tactical channel" to alert that an armed individual was on the roof moments before Trump was shot at the PA rally.

However, the Secret Service didn’t rush to protect Trump at this moment.

Butler town manager Tom Knights says a local officer who "interrupted" Thomas Crooks was hanging from the roof after being lifted by another officer.

Crooks pointed his rifle, forcing the officer to fall.

Both officers then radioed in to notify about the armed individual.

It's unclear how much time passed between Crooks pointing his rifle and the first shot.
