Instructions
For New Sowing
To establish a captivating wildflower garden, follow these steps:
Turn the soil up to a depth of 30 cm and eliminate weeds. Level the ground and prepare a seedbed.
Begin sowing around the garden’s edges.
Next, sow across the garden’s length and breadth.
Rake the seeds lightly into the soil (no deeper than 5mm).
Walk or roll over the seeds, pressing them firmly into the soil.
Post-sowing, keep the soil moist to promote successful germination.
For Maintenance of a Perennial Flower Meadow
Mow at a height of 10 cm when about 70% of the vegetation is in bloom. For infertile soils, one mowing session, usually in September when the seeds mature, suffices. For fertile soils, mow twice: first in June/July and then in September. After mowing, leave the cuttings for a few days so that seeds can disperse, then remove. We recommend mowing in stages to ensure continuous pollen availability for bees and butterflies.
Dosage
Seeding density: 2 grams per 1 m²
Sowing period: March – September.
