People and animals are going missing around Leeukopkraal, and Kevin doesn't like hearing about it over the radio anymore. It scares him. He brought the radio along to the veld to help pass the time while he's watching the sheep all day, but all he likes is when BSJ's songs come on. All this talking about people going missing is enough to get one on one's nerves. Kevin finally just turns the radio off, and starts thinking about his family and loved ones. One such person is Elisabet, his sister. From a very young age, she always had this dream of becoming some kind of vague glamorous celebrity or supermodel or something of the like. Her dream got her into a lot of trouble unfortunately, because it can be a cruel world out there. However, she kept trying and trying and failing and trying and failing and trying some more, until finally, it seems she's having some small successes. She phones up her mother and tells of how she's going to star in a flea powder commercial, and afterwards she's flying home to Leeukopkraal to start reading the news as a news anchor on TV! She's very excited about it. But what is Mother doing, she asks. Mother tells of a musical she's writing, about a woman who loves flowers very much. Meanwhile, Kevin experiences a night of trouble at the sheep corral.
