Jaron Ennis does NOT beat Terence Crawford

Jaron Ennis took on and battered David Anaeysan last weekend in DAZN. After his fifth round knockout of the former opponent of Terence Crawford, fans are clamoring for Bud vs. Boots. I am not so optimistic about that fight.

10:18 Does Jaron Ennis fight Terence Crawford next? After watching Jaron Ennis slow at the mid point of his fight with David Anaeysan, I now truly believe that Terence Crawford beats Jaron Ennis. While Jaron Ennis did manage to finish David Anaeysan faster than Terence Crawford, I don’t rate the performance as one that could tell us how Jaron Ennis beats Terence Crawford.

That said, I don’t think Jaron Ennis’ performance was unimpressive. His body work was incredible and crippled David Anaeysan pretty quickly. Jaron Ennis managed to cripple his opponent to the body and during the infighting portion of the fight.

In the pocket, Jaron Ennis was crucial. Mixing up the shot selection from the body to the head was magnificent. David Anaeysan kept going to that well and kept being punished for doing so.

So does Jaron Ennis and Terence Crawford have a date to tango next? Terence Crawford has a fight booked but should he win, I don’t know if we will see that just yet.
