The assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump is a tragic reminder that the hope of America does not rest on the donkey or the elephant but in the Lamb of God. The shooting should serve as a wakeup call for every Christian across the entire Body of Christ that we are not playing a religious game with political and social agendas of the world's system, but are on a heavenly mission to advance the Kingdom of Heaven, of which we are citizens and ambassadors.

Pastors, priests, and self-proclaimed prophets are hard at work seeking to attribute any form of biblical connection to the assassination attempt, but all are missing the big picture. Every American wants peace, prosperity, and the pursuit of happiness to define our earthly existence. But these things are only found in Christ. This earth is not our home. We are sojourners here, making our way through mortality to immortality, and should strive to bring as many with us as possible into eternal life.
