Like many professional wrestlers, I grew up mesmerized by the business. But my youth was consumed by "hoop dreams", because I shared the same Birthday as Michael Jordan. I did amateur wrestle for a brief period. But it wasn't until I played football my senior, I knew without a doubt I wanted to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a professional wrestler.

After high school I immediately started applying for every WWF Tough Enough contest. I never received a call back of course. So I decided to exercise other routes to simply get a foot in the door. I attended a WWE Monday Night Raw in Chicago in 2003. After meeting a few of the wrestlers who decided the venture through the crowd as the show ended. I noticed some unknown wrestlers handing out local professional wrestling fantasy camps fliers.

I signed up for the 3 day camp and the rest was history. At the time this school was called Classic Championship Wrestling in Fox Lake, IL. It's currently under the brand of Poww Entertainment (Purely Obsessed With Wrestling). I made the rookie mistake of signing a 2 year contract in 2003 with my homebase promotion. But I was released after the first year due to outside circumstances. Long story short it was a scenario very similar to the shoot love triangle with Matt Hardy, Lita, and Edge. Ironically it all went down around the exact same time line.

I loss my wrestling contract (awards and potential title runs), a very well paying job, and my father all within the same month. One year prior to all these events when I first started my training. I told a friend I was going to attend Ohio Valley Wrestling. The WWE farming system at that time in Kentucky. I literally was talking out my ass, with no clue how I would make that happen. Well, it took literally losing everything at once to make that proclamation come true one year later.

I took a leap of faith and did a two day tryout with OVW in 2004. I received a letter from Jim Cornette and Danny Davis inviting back for their intermediate class. I relocated in 2005 with the gift my father left me. He was a professional boxer, that couldn't stand professional wrestling. He didn't agree with the fixed outcome, but he respected my passion for it.

I carried over my moniker of Reggie "The Real" Reason, along with a finishing maneuver called "The Reality Check ". I was a huge Roody Piper fan, so my character was a big mouth street brawler that "kept it real". The character wasn't catching as it did in Chicago. Then to make matters worse, The Miz who under contract in Deep South in Atl. Had recently been relocated to OVW and began using "The Reality Check " for his blog and eventually his finishing move for a period.

I made attempts to pitch an angle regarding that with Heyman. But they had other directions for The Miz. So this lead to the character migration of The Honorable Judge Reason. We would hold a wrestler's court session, which was a legitimate thing historical in the locker room. Although the gimmick didn't take off, it helped me gain more notoriety in the system and with peers. After 5 years with the company I learned a lot and have some great stories.

While in KY I married my ex-wife who was also wrestler, and we have a 12 year old daughter. I arrived in the Carolina's around 2011. I've been wrestling for various east coast promotions since. Promotions such as Ring Wars Carolina, Premier Wrestling Federation, Masters of Ring Entertainment and Shockwave Wrestling Entertainment. My personal favorite and probably most popular gimmick was The Purge. A group of demented, sadistic, and chaotic outlaws. That were hell bent on Purge anything counterproductive or disrespectful to professional wrestling. I was simply Reggie "Hellraiser" Reason and eventually became Shockwave Wrestling Heavyweight champion.

I've been fortunate enough work with many legitimate legends. Such as Bret Hart, Ron Simmons, Vader, D'Lo Brown, Al Snow, RIP Rogers, Harley Race, the Samoan dynasty, Mark Henry and more. Not to name drop or clout seek. But rather to homage to those who've helped me make the journey so incredible.
