Concerns have been expressed concerning the security failings at the former US President's campaign rally in Pennsylvania following a purported "assassination" attempt on Donald Trump. Before being shot and killed, the shooter allegedly scaled the roof of a building close to the location where Trump was speaking. It is being said that there was a serious error that led to the assassination attempt, possibly the worst since President Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981. How a gunman was able to shoot a former president during a rally under the protection of local and federal law police is a matter of concern. Before bullets were fired at Trump, an eyewitness informed Trump's security that there was a gunman on a roof "three or four minutes" earlier, the BBC was informed.
