The song is about a student losing faith in his master's beliefs and ways. Suspension of disbelief is a term used when someone does the opposite: blindly following what their master says, even if it doesn't make sense. This concept can be applied in many scenarios, such as martial arts, sports, and religion. The song is not critical of martial arts, sports, or religion themselves; rather, it criticizes the individual figures that students look up to and how some masters develop hubris, thinking they are gods.

Jøsang's opinion triangle is an example of how the uncertainty axis of the triangle is often not allowed in these contexts. The belief axis seems to be the only approved opinion. To become a true master, it is necessary to allow students to criticize and challenge wisdom. A master must always remain a student to continue growing and to experience doubt.

Jøsang's opinion triangle is very interesting when applied to situations where two opposing sides demand that you choose one. Ask yourself: what if both sides are wrong? You do not have to play their games if you do not accept the rules or the presented outcome.
