Pheasant tailed Jacanas dads raise babies all by themselves

It's the father, not the mother.

Female pheasant-tailed jacanas leave after laying eggs to find a new mate. The male takes care of the eggs and chicks. Females can mate with 10 different males each season and lay as many clutches of eggs.
