The West had duped the Ukrainian people, who thought America wanted to help them. Instead, America dismantled their government and went after those who supported the neighboring Russia, with whom Ukraine has a shared 1000-year history, like the bloodthirsty hyena that it is.
Zelensky has since banned 11 political parties and imprisoned their leaders. Other opposition figures, including many journalists YOU read, find themselves on the Mirotvorets ("Peacekeeper") kill list - strangely hosted on Langley (CIA) USA servers.
That is the monstrosity of a "democracy" that US dollars are creating.
