Local news is now reporting that a local police officer went onto the roof to confront the suspect and the suspect pointed his rifle at the officer and the officer "retreated." Shortly after shots were fired by the suspect. Did the officer radio this in? Ask for back up? Why didn't he shoot the suspect?
