The Michigan State Police are deploying law enforcement officers

The City of Milwaukee requested an Emergency Assistance Compact which will send 35 troopers to assist with security and crowd management. The Michigan State Police personnel started a seven day deployment over the weekend. The Republican National Convention takes place today through Thursday at the Fiserv Forum and other nearby venues.
