As if the Biden-Trump II political season couldn't get more bizarre, the country is still reeling from an assassination attempt on the life of former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump while out in Butler, PA. The shooter, 20 year old Thomas Cooks, armed with an AR-15 styled carbine rifle, fired eight rounds at the president, grazing his right ear, before the Secret Service snipers returned fire, killing Cooks instantly. Despite both Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden calling for calm and unity, there are voices on both sides of the political aisle that are brimming over with recrimination and scorn - even those who are arguing that Trump somehow "scripted" this horrific event to shore up his political fortunes(!). Incredible - but it just goes to show the degree to which the country is so bitterly divided. Meanwhile, there are those in the media who are speculating how the past weekend's events will go over with Black male voters - a constituency the Trump campaign has been keen to capture. Indeed, what are Black men's views about this weekend's events? And what can Black men learn from Trump's near-tragedy? All this and more we're gonna talk about THIS MORNING ONLY ON RUMBLE!
