Hebrews 3:12-14 Now Is Not The Time To Quit
Intro: Winners don’t quit they just regroup and come back stronger than ever! Abraham Lincoln lost forty jobs. He was even fired from his postmaster job! Now how do we remember Him? You may fail once or 40 times but don’t quit if it is something worthwhile. Hall of fame baseball players fail to get a hit seven out of ten times! Hall of fame basketball players miss half of their shots and some lose half of their games! But if your team is up by 40 points with one minute to go in the national championship game……would you quit? That’s what many in the church are doing today! They are quitting with the victory withing their grasp! They have quit going to church…they have quit reading the Bible. They have quit telling others that Jesus is coming soon! Of all the times to quit this is absolutely the worst time. God’s time clock is down to seconds to go. Can’t you hold out for just a little while longer? Many have said NO!!!
