While delivering an address to the nation on the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, Joe Biden suggested that political differences should be settled with words, not violence. However, earlier he failed to clearly label the incident for what it was. Many European leaders, meanwhile, issued similar statements following the attack on the former US President.
