CORO S.A.T. CLAUZETTO ITALY 2024

Il Coro della SAT (Società degli alpinisti tridentini) è il più celebre tra i cori maschili italiani comunemente chiamati "di montagna"; esegue principalmente elaborazioni di canti popolari.Il Coro nacque ufficialmente il 25 maggio 1926 a Trento, per opera dei fratelli Pedrotti e di alcuni amici. Essi intrapresero un'opera di recupero di tutto il patrimonio di canti popolari, in particolare del Trentino, curando personalmente le prime armonizzazioni. La formazione è considerata il più prestigioso coro di montagna, le cui interpretazioni hanno fatto scuola in tutta Italia. A partire dalla sua fondazione, in particolare dopo la guerra, sono nate svariate formazioni per voci maschili che prendono a modello il coro trentino, nella formazione e nel repertorio.Il coro SAT si è esibito in oltre mille concerti in Italia, Europa (Austria, Belgio, Cecoslovacchia e ora Repubblica Ceca, Danimarca, Finlandia, Francia, Germania, Gran Bretagna, Paesi Bassi, Russia, Svizzera), America (Brasile, Canada, Messico, Stati Uniti) ed Asia (Corea del Sud), nei teatri più prestigiosi.

The SAT ( Society of the Tridentine Mountaineers ) Choir is the most famous of the Italian male choirs commonly called "mountain choirs"; it mainly performs arrangements of popular songs. The Choir was officially founded on 25 May 1926 in Trent, by the Pedrotti brothers and some friends. They undertook a work of recovery of the entire heritage of popular songs, in particular from Trentino, personally taking care of the first harmonization. The group is considered the most prestigious mountain choir, whose interpretations have set a precedent throughout Italy. Since its foundation, in particular after the war, various groups for male voices have been born which take the Trentino choir as a model, in their formation and repertoire. The SAT choir has performed in over a thousand concerts in Italy, Europe (Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia and now the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland), America (Brazil, Canada, Mexico, the United States) and Asia (South Korea), in the most prestigious theaters.
