Iowa Talk Guys #111 Road to War Update: Russia Attacked, Russian Cuba Visit, No Peace for Gaza

Originally aired July 07/07/24. In this week's episode, The Talk Guys discuss more about the young men that were charged with digging tunnels underneath a synagogue in New York City. Next, The Talk Guys read reports about the latest terrorist attack that happened in the Dagestan province of Russia on June 23, 2024. The media reports that the attacks were from “international organizations,” but earlier reports claimed that two of the gunmen were local politicians children. On the same day as the terror attack, Crimea was struck with U.S.-supplied ATACMS missiles, fired by Ukrainian forces. Civilians on a beach were killed by rocket fragments, and the Kremlin directly blames the U.S. for the attack. Moscow has formally warned the U.S. ambassador that retaliations will follow. Russian ships just recently visited Cuba, and the U.S. government is not too happy about it. Israel isn’t finished in Gaza yet, as Netanyahu rejects any peace deal that is not from him or his government. Lastly, many people forget that Palestine owns the rights to one of the largest natural gas reservoirs in the Mediterranean Sea. Israel has spent years ensuring that the Palestinians won’t get a chance to benefit from their own natural resources. If Palestine seizes to exist, for some reason, Israel has much to gain.
