Ol'Mom gets what she believes is a love letter in the mail. But what if Mr. Secret Admirer thinks Ol'Mom and Slobbies are uneducated, boring commoners? Ol'Mom decides there and then, Slobbies must go and become a booklearned gentleman at school. So she takes Slobbies to school to enroll. It takes drumming up a riot to make the principal change his mind about not allowing dogs to enroll in the school, but Slobbies' teacher has some rather strong ideas about where society is going, allowing all kinds of non-human entities into institutions of education. But with a little prodding, it seems Slobbies is going to discover the real reason his teacher is hesitant to have a dog in her class, and it has more to do with a broken heart than with any concern about the end of civilization.
