Text: Ephesians 5:6; Matthew 6:7

Objective: that the brethren may be wise in speech
and not just mimic a parrot-ty, vain, robot-like foolish talk

Define – mimic, intelligence, wisdom, leading of the spirit

Why and How we can and should avoid vain words and the parrot attitude:
1. It is a WASTE of PRECIOUS time – Exo. 5:9, Job 16:3, Job 35:16
a. Ephesians 5:16; Colossians 4:5
2. It is Based on Pagan practice - Matthew 6:7
a. Buddist mantras/chanting
b. Roman catholic - rosary
3. It will get People to be Delusional – 2Kings 18:20; Isaiah 36:5
a. Give false hopes
b. Never to be done specially in soul-winning
4. It Abuses the Power of the spoken words among those that have “air-time”
a. Jeremiah 23:16
5. It is Deceptive and Brings About the Wrath of God - Ephesians 5:6
Message/conclusion:

Let us be wise in speech and not just mimic a parrot-ty, vain, robot-like foolish talk.
Make use of the wisdom in God’s word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit
