McQueen: Hollywood Stardom, Wealth & Success to following Jesus Christ

An almost forgotten Hollywood icon, Steve McQueen was the highest paid and most sought after Hollywood actor and star in the 1960's and early 70's. He reached his pinnacle of Hollywood stardom around the early 70's. But, he then began to pull away from Hollywood.
Steven was becoming disillusioned with fame and fortune. In 1977, McQueen and Ali McGraw separated and their divorce was final in 1978. Shortly thereafter, he pursued, and later married, Barbara Minty McQueen.
Steven hired a flight instructor to teach him how to fly. As Steve was introduced to the instructors family, who were all Christians, God began to soften Steve's heart. McQueen began regularly attending Ventura Missionary Church where he later placed his faith in Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior.
Not too long after, McQueen was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Wanting to meet Billy Graham, they spoke for the first and last time, just before his last flight to Mexico in an effort to save his life. McQueen made audio recordings before his death, speaking about his relationship with Jesus Christ.
