President Biden on Assassination Attempt Against President Trump
President Biden said he ordered the Secret Service to review all security measures at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee after a gunman attempted to assassinate the party’s presumptive nominee former President Donald Trump at a previous-day Pennsylvania campaign rally. The president added that he had spoken to Mr. Trump and said the conversation was “short but good.”
