Wookiee Boy - E Collar Day 1

He slept in his nook all night and didn't whine. He follows me around I think hoping I will help him take the cone off. This morning he seems more relaxed with it.

Here are some of the products I have tried with him. Not shown I have also had him to the vet 3 times and put him on antibiotics twice. One of the antibiotics made a small improvement but only for a short time, the other one made it worse. I have had him in surgical suits for up to a week at a time and that was the only time the wound would really heal. But it is far too hot to keep him in a surgical suit right now so I'm trying the E-Collar.

The wound looks like pus, but when I used a warm wet rag to clean it off the pus colored part was actually a crust. After cleaning the wound with a warm rag I used the baby wipe as an astringent and then after a few hours of letting it be dry I put 3-in-1 ointment on the wound. Tonight I will clean it again with a warm rag and put Vitacilina on before his bedtime.
