Kick Asteroid – A Synthwave Instrumental
Millions of years in the future humans will bioengineer themselves to withstand the vacuum of space. They are now immortal and extremely bored. The new exciting game to distract them from eternal life is to travel into the asteroid belt and attempt to walk on one. If successful they can be drawn into the gravity pull of the asteroid and eventually land on it. Most who attempt it will just end up floating awkwardly in space and will have to be rescued later by automated spacecraft. The goal is to be the one who spin-walks the asteroid the longest amount of time. The person who has the highest score will be awarded a new game console that will distract them for thousands of years. The only catch is that these asteroids can be composed of fragile and explosive materials so proceed with caution…
The video was created in 3ds max with the help of Tyflow and Vray. Music was composed in MPC and Cakewalk on my commute to work. I kept the beat the same throughout and tested out a few different synths and effects from Akai throughout the song.
That’s all for now, thanks for watching 😊
