Excitable Puppy Plays Himself Right Off A Bed

This video features an adorable puppy resting on his owner’s big bed. When they come into the room he gets very, very excited. He almost can’t handle the excitement. In fact, he doesn’t really. As he bounces on the bed in joy he does not pay attention to where he is going and how close to the edge he might be. Eventually, he slips and falls taking some of the blanket with him. His sudden disappearance is part of what makes this funny to watch. Also, just his adorable delight at seeing his owner is pretty heartwarming to watch.

Do you ever look at your dog and wonder what thoughts run through their small heads, or in some cases for certain dogs, giant heads? I do. I like to think that dogs have extreme opinions on things that don’t really matter to us or even them. Like I imagine that dogs lose their minds over proper napkin placement at dinner parties. Or in the formal space they have harsh words for anyone who does not use chargers for place settings.

I’m fairly certain that my little dog has strong opinions about phone calls after 9 pm. I have regular opinions on it, don’t do it. However, from time to time a phone call must be made. You should see the side eye that I get from my dog when we take or make phone calls after nine. He is quite judgmental. Seriously, we’ve started a call at 8:55 pm and nothing. But as soon as it hits nine on the clock, it’s all glares and glowering. He must know how to read clocks, that’s my guess.
