Trump assassination: back stage footage, shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks recorded message

Suspect, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, is killed following an attack that left one spectator dead.

Who was killed and injured during Trump rally?

One spectator was killed and two others were critically injured after "multiple shots" were fired, the Secret Service said.

A rally attendee, 50-year-old former firefighter Corey Comperatore was killed.
"Corey died a hero. Corey dove on his family to protect them last night at this rally," Shapiro said. "Corey was the very best of us." The governor described the victim as an avid supporter of the former president, emphasizing his dedication to his community and family. Comperatore previously served as the chief of the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Department and is survived by a wife and two children.

On Sunday, law enforcement released the names of the two people injured in the shooting — 57-year-old David Dutch, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and 74-year-old James Copenhaver, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Both of their conditions have been upgraded from critical to stable, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
