"Dancing in the Wind": Not the Anders Osborne song, that doesn't come along until 2012! There is a poem "To a child dancing in the wind" by William Butler Yeats, but it's a poem, not a song. If you know a song from the 1930s or earlier by this name, please leave a comment about who was the composer and who was most famous for playing it!

the judge sentenced him to burn: that would be execution by way of electric chair, not burning at the stake.

alienist: old time word for psychiatrist. Interesting that McClusky uses both words in the same text.
