Who is Ron Stephenson? He’s an unpolished Christian. An American Patriot. A warrior. A survivor. The husband of a very talented artist, Watercolorartist. A spinner of tall tales. An ex-comic book artist. A 52-yr.-old ink-slinger who feels like he’s running out of runway, yet, like a lunatic, he can’t stop smiling as he races toward eternity’s edge. Poor farm boy by day, billionaire rock star by night (actually, only that first part’s true), Ron Stephenson, aka: Crazy Bear, is a sci-fi/fantasy artist and writer who has spent the last eight years building an entire alien world and its ecosystem from scratch: All the flora, the fauna, various alien races, their unique cultures and technologies, bizarre new planetary dynamics. And this fall, he plans to start sharing Makundo IV, his tabletop role-playing game, with the rest of the world. Will it be a raging success and the precursor to a line of comic books, movies, novels, video games, and even action figures? Only time will tell.
