Though major crimes are still low compared to the US averages in Hawaii, petty theft, violence and drug-related crimes are still rampant throughout the islands.

With an average of almost two mass shootings a day, it is becoming less and less safe to live in America. Believe it or not, in 2024, it is safer to live in countries like Ecuador, Nicaragua, South Africa and Guatemala.
