Italian PM rolls eyes, checks imaginary watch as Biden turns up late

As she waited for the absent Joe Biden, running late yet again, Giorgia Meloni’s face said what everyone in the room was thinking. The Italian PM was clearly in no mood to smile politely and pretend she wasn’t annoyed at the whole sorry situation, as Biden failed to show up and get the third day of the NATO summit going.
Rolling her eyes, pulling faces and checking her imaginary watch, Meloni left onlookers in no doubt of her opinion on lateness.
Biden eventually showed up 40 minutes late, having reportedly only left home 20 minutes after he was supposed to arrive at the summit. Maybe there was something really good on TV, who knows?
