Polish Air Force jet crashes during event rehearsal

A Polish Air Force M-346 jet has crashed near the city of Gdynia. Rehearsals for an upcoming event were underway when the pilot, a member of the M-346 display team, got into difficulty and appeared unable to eject.
Footage of the crash was captured by eyewitnesses, and shows the jet falling to the ground at high speed, exploding on impact.
A rescue and recovery operation is currently underway, according to officials.
