Settles our souls
And brings us to calm …
From the morning …
Wake at 4:30 AM
And write what comes to me
In the afternoon
We plan tomorrow’s
Meeting over Zoom
Regarding an event for families …
And I observe
How the day transitions …
And as the sun settles
The uncertainty of my future
No longer causes fright …
Allowing the morning
To slowly turn into night …
