The Girls we sent away review

Set in the 60s, during the later half of what is known as the "baby scoop era" we meet Loraine, who wants to be an astronaut. However, one night with her boyfriend is all it takes to change her life forever. We follow her as she goes to a maternity home for girls and deals with societies expectations of proper unwed young women.
