The book of Micah is a collection of heavy chapters that address the spiritual prostitution and idolatry of the people of God. The prophets, including Micah, speak out of a place of brokenness and love for their country and countrymen. Judgment is coming, and neighboring nations will be used to carry out God's wrath. The unrighteous leaders and church leaders who exploit their positions will face judgment. However, there is hope for a remnant who will be regathered and for the establishment of God's kingdom on earth. Jesus will reign and bring peace to the nations.
