As a collective of Global War on Terror Veterans, Shawn Ryan Show & Company deeply understand the complexities of middle eastern conflicts. Firsthand experience alongside the National Resistance Front (NRF) of Afghanistan have equipped them with firsthand knowledge of the situation on the ground.

The current situation in Afghanistan is concerning. An astonishing 80 million dollars per week are redirected from the American taxpayers to the Taliban, against the direct interests and principles of the United States. The UN's 2021 Afghanistan report confirmed that the Taliban continue their terror campaign unabated, leading to increasing civilian casualties (UNAMA report, July 2021). It is therefore not only unethical but against national security to continue funding those who propagate violence.

Shawn Ryan & Company now implore Congress to invite Commander Ahmad Massoud of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan to testify in the United States. His testimony will shed light on the real situation and contribute to a more informed decision-making process concerning the allocation of funds. Moreover, Congress should redirect its financial support towards the NRF, restoring their critical logistical and aid support.
