...I listened to this often for many years after picking it from the LP racks at Tower Records in Seattle in 1985 -- back when it was still somewhat sane and fun to visit...it's a no-go zone anymore for me.

At the time I was a budding recording engineer at a WWa college, so this album quite intrigued me.
The last piece ' Stultified' I left out of cassette copies for car stereo, or faded after it begins, SO discordant.
I think that's a message from Fripp and Summers there...after the LP being many thoughtful, sometimes peaceful passages, very organic pieces, it ends in ordo ab chao.' Did they see the future back in 1982? Because that could be a theme song for a lot of what we're seeing today in America.
