“God loves us” is a term we are all familiar with but what does that love look like? Callie begins this service with a tender, stripped down version of the answer to that question. God’s love flows through His people who love Him. She and Randy know a little bit about what love looks like, and what it doesn’t look like and that’s what they talk about in this message - becoming the person of Love that God intends us all to become. Randy shares how vital it is to ask the Lord to use us any way He chooses, thus we have given Him the permission to do so, which results in our will not being violated. If you are having problems in your walk it’s a problem in your love walk - it’s either a problem loving God and a lack of obedience to Him, loving your neighbor or loving yourself. Sometimes love just has to persevere. You have to refuse to run. Love gives us the power to forgive, travail, have compassion, and is one of the fruits of the Spirit which reveals the nature of God. Space does not permit to adequately share the treasured content of this message. There is a place in the service where Randy and Callie stand before the congregation as father and/or father figure and mother and/or mother figure asking forgiveness for a plethora of failures and sins. It is an intimate time of ministry from the Holy Spirit.
