Tierra Nuestra  recovers the historical memory of a topic of fundamental importance for Nicaragua: the struggle for land, considering the different production systems, starting with Spanish colonization until today. Because it was a period of great historical importance, it focuses on the successes and failures of the Sandinista agrarian reform, the role of women and the conflicts in the agricultural sector. And then, from the 1990s onwards, on the consequences of what was called the counter-agrarian reform. Finally, it invites a reflection on the current challenges of the peasant struggle and its role in promoting a new agriculture, agroecology, diversified and sustainable as a vehicle for the development of Nicaragua
