A few months before the corona outbreak was declared a pandemic, Event 201 took place, simulating the outbreak of a coronavirus. That simulation was financed by, among others, Gates and the World Economic Forum.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and the W.H.O. simulated another pandemic on October 23, 2022 in Brussels. Catastrophic Contagion was the ominous title of the project. Ten current and former health ministers and senior health officials from Senegal, Rwanda, Nigeria, Angola, Liberia, Singapore, India and Germany participated in the simulation along with Gates.
