In the springtime you might notice the trees and plants around your home start putting out new buds. Depending on the plant, these buds can look and feel different than the rest of the plant. What you’re seeing is the plant actively growing and creating new parts of itself. How does it do this? Well, it’s a little know process called mitosis.
