The show trial against Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has revealed who is who. Who is on the side of the manifest heretic Bergoglio and who is on the side of Christ and the truth, that is, on the side of Archbishop Viganò.
The Patriarchate responds to media reports.
Roberto de Mattei, historian, commented: “Bishop Strickland recognised the authority of Pope Francis, refusing to follow the advice of those American conservatives and/or traditionalists who were inciting him to defy the pontiff’s decision.”
The historian De Mattei is correct; Bishop Strickland did recognise and still recognises the authority of the false Pope Francis as the rightful Pope, even now, in the aftermath of Fiducia supplicans. In so doing, he has aligned himself with his apostasy and rebellion against God. Appealing to so-called obedience to the Holy Father is absurd. Bergoglio, who has excommunicated himself from the Church, cannot be its head, as the Church Fathers and Doctors of the Church affirm.
De Mattei further refers to the constitution Pastor aeternus: “But when the pope makes decisions that concern the discipline and government of the Church, without directly transgressing the divine and natural law, what is obligatory is not resistance but obedience...”
But in the case of Bergoglio, decisions are not made without directly transgressing the divine and natural law. He has already transgressed it in Amoris laetitia, where he practically abrogated God’s commandments and denied the existence of objectively valid moral norms. He has replaced the divine law with a subjective approach. With the dogmatic declaration Fiducia supplicans, he de facto cancels the entire Decalogue. In Ad theologiam promovendam, he has established the principle of paradigm shift, stating that everything contrary to what he has decreed is null and void. In this way, he has invalidated the Scriptures and Tradition. It follows that what is a sacred obligation is disobedience and resistance to what the apostate Bergoglio has decreed.
Quoting Bishop Schneider: “There is no authority to declare or consider an elected and generally accepted Pope as an invalid Pope.”
With this statement Schneider makes it clear that for him there is no authority apart from the apostate Bergoglio – neither the authority of the Holy Scriptures nor the authority of Tradition, that is, the Church Fathers and Doctors of the Church who state unequivocally that a heretical pope is excluded by God from the Church and therefore cannot be its head. St Bellarmine states: “And this is what St Jerome writes, adding that the other sinners are excluded from the Church by sentence of excommunication, but the heretics exile themselves and separate themselves by their own act from the body of Christ… The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope … cannot be head of what he is not a member. He who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St Cyprian (lib. 4, epist. 2), St Athanasius (Scr. 2 cont. Arian.), St Augustine (lib. De grat. Christ. cap. 20), St Jerome (Dial. contra Luc.) and others; therefore the manifest heretic cannot be Pope.”
The statement of Scripture is clear: “If anyone preaches any other gospel, let him be excluded, accursed – anathema.” (Gal 1:8-9)
Quoting Schneider: “The constant practice of the Church makes it evident that even in the case of an invalid election, this invalid election will be de facto healed through the general acceptance of the new elected by the overwhelming majority of the cardinals and bishops.”
However, if a heretic is elected, this election is invalid according to the dogmatic bull of Paul IV, even if he is unanimously elected by all the cardinals. The bull further states that all actions of this heretic are without force.
Referring in this situation to the constant practice of the Church is inadequate, since it is unprecedented in history that the so-called Pope should release a doctrinal declaration allowing the blessing of the outrageous sin of sodomy or that the Pope should publicly dedicate himself to Satan.
Quoting Schneider: “Even in the case of a heretical pope, he will not lose his office automatically...”
This Schneider’s statement reveals either his ignorance or deliberate deception.
The interpretation of canon law by canonists Wernz and Vidal is based on the dogmatic bull Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio, the teachings of the Church Fathers such as St Cyprian, St Athanasius, St Augustine, or St Jerome, and Doctors of the Church such as St Bellarmine (1610), St Francis de Sales (1622), St Anthony, bishop (1459), or St Alphonsus of Liguori. In their 1943 interpretation of canon law, they provide the following explanation: “Through notorious and openly divulged heresy, the Roman Pontiff, should he fall into heresy, by that very fact [ipso facto] is deemed to be deprived of the power of jurisdiction even before any declaratory judgement by the Church.”
Quoting Schneider: “... and there is no body within the Church to declare him (a manifestly heretical pope) deposed because of heresy.”
St Bellarmine, on the other hand, says: “Therefore, the true opinion is the one according to which the Pope who is manifestly a heretic ceases by himself to be Pope and head, in the same way as he ceases to be a Christian and a member of the body of the Church; and for this reason he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the opinion of all the Fathers, who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction, and outstandingly that of St Cyprian.”
Schneider says that there is no body within the present-day so-called Church to declare the so-called Pope deposed because of heresy. This proves that the Church today is occupied by the Bergoglian sect, which has taken all the key positions. Schneider is an apologist for this sect. Seemingly, he rejects Fiducia supplicans, so to speak, but at the same time he submits to its author and thus in fact accepts this declaration.
Quoting the historian De Mattei: “Bishop Schneider is following the teaching of Saint Alphonsus Liguori.”
Schneider is not following the teaching of St Alphonsus Liguori. St Alphonsus says the following: “If God were to permit a pope to become a notorious and contumacious heretic, he would by such fact cease to be pope, and the apostolic chair would be vacant (sede vacante).” This applies fully to Jorge Bergoglio.
Quoting the historian De Mattei: “Bishop Schneider is following the teaching of ... Cardinal Billot and the Roman school of theology, according to which he who is generally accepted as pope is the true pontiff.”
If someone is generally accepted as pope, it is assumed that he is by no means a manifest heretic. A manifest heretic is not even a member of the Church, as St Bellarmine writes: “The Pope who is manifestly a heretic ceases by himself to be Pope and head, in the same way as he ceases to be a Christian and a member of the body of the Church.” The same is confirmed by the Church Fathers and Doctors of the Church.
Quoting the historian De Mattei: “…because if the whole Church were to adhere to a false pope, it would hold to a false rule of faith.”
This is exactly what we are witnessing today. A false pope makes the whole Catholic Church, all who stay with him, hold to a false rule of faith, transforming the Church into a New Age antichurch. In his motu proprio Ad theologiam promovendam, Bergoglio even admits publicly that he is changing the basic paradigms, or in other words, establishing false rules of faith. In doing so, he also retroactively proves that he is indeed a false pope.
Quoting the historian De Mattei: “One can isolate many of the words or acts of Pope Francis and show that, objectively, they are not directed to the good of souls. But there are other acts of his pontificate that do not have these characteristics (for example, the proclamation of the year of Saint Joseph on 8 December 2020)…”
The historian De Mattei must be joking. If he is serious, he is just constructing artificial intellectual problems. However, he totally ignores the fundamental reality, which is iniquity in the holy place, that is, apostasy in the highest office in the Church. Let us point out again: On 1 November 2023, Bergoglio issued the motu proprio Ad theologiam promovendam, thus establishing the principle of a paradigm shift. Subsequently, on 18 December, he issued the doctrinal declaration Fiducia supplicans, in which he legalized the grave sin of sodomy and introduced its blessing. In doing so, he de facto invalidated the Decalogue and the Creed and transformed the Catholic Church into a New Age antichurch. De Mattei totally ignores this basic fact that Bergoglio has shown himself to be a manifest heretic.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò points to Bergoglio’s heresies and crimes. In accordance with the teaching of Scripture and the Church Fathers, he proves that he is not a valid Pope. In his statements, De Mattei grossly denigrates the true Catholic archbishop in order to silence this chief witness of Christ. The Lord Jesus would have to say to Roberto de Mattei today: “Woe to you, Pharisees, hypocrites, the brood of vipers! For you strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! You neither go in the kingdom of heaven yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.” (cf. Mt 23:23f)
The Italian portal “La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana” has also proved to be unserious, full of conspiracy theories unworthy of trust. An example is the gross manipulation and vile denigration of the true Catholic Archbishop Viganò. So who does the portal serve? A hypocritical journalist has recently published another hoax, writing: “For several months now, information has been circulating about the re-consecration that Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, former Apostolic Nuncio in Washington, is (supposedly) to receive.”
The conspirator, wishing to find an argument to confirm his theory, wrote that he had approached Archbishop Viganò, who responded only with surprise as to why Bussola was addressing him. This portal is constantly smearing him. However, the journalist concluded from his surprise that his conspiracy had been confirmed. We do not want to discuss here the meanness, hypocrisy and manipulation that Nuova Bussola commits to destroy the truth itself and to defend the path of falsehood and apostasy. We will only summarize it briefly: Bussola uses the methods of the mainstream – lies, lies, and more lies.
Schneider wrote: “I lament that Archbishop Viganò uses disrespectful language.”
Archbishop Viganò does not use disrespectful language at all; on the contrary, he calls things by their true names, in conformity with the Holy Scriptures. Moreover, Jesus said very harsh words about the Pharisees, calling them a brood of vipers, snakes, whitewashed tombs and hypocrites. Schneider fails to distinguish the basics, namely that Abp Viganò leads people on the path of truth and repentance and thus to salvation, whereas the false Pope Bergoglio leads people through heresies and sodomy to eternal damnation. And this is a diametric difference.
According to Schneider, Bergoglio probably uses respectful language when he commits blasphemy and claims that the Lord Jesus “made Himself the serpent and the devil” for us. Bergoglio also grossly defamed Archbishop Viganò, labelling him as the “accuser of the brethren” and the “servant of Satan”. But Schneider does not lament about it.
Quoting the media: “The Priestly Society of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) issued a statement on 24 June distancing itself from Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: ‘In his text, Archbishop Viganò makes a clear declaration of sedevacantism. In other words, according to him, Pope Francis is not a pope… On this point, neither Archbishop Lefebvre nor the fraternity he founded would agree.’”
On the contrary, Msgr Lefebvre could not agree with the Fraternity’s current positions. Unlike the Fraternity, Bishop Williamson, ordained by Msgr Lefebvre, shares the same position as Archbishop Viganò, namely that Bergoglio is not a valid Pope. Archbishop Lefebvre would certainly take this position. But just as this contradictory fraternity expelled Bishop Williamson, it would expel Archbishop Lefebvre today.
Quoting the media: “The Society of Saint Pius X, on the other hand, recognises Pope Francis as an eminent pope… Bishops and priests of the Fraternity celebrate Holy Mass in union with the Holy Father.”
If the bishops and priests of the Fraternity celebrate Holy Mass in inner union with the so-called Holy Father even after 18 December 2023, they accept the heresy of Fiducia supplicans. Then the anathema of God according to Gal 1:8, which Jorge Bergoglio has taken upon himself, also applies to them and they celebrate the liturgy invalidly! The priest who has received the sodomite antigospel has also received the spirit of antichrist. The spirit of antichrist cannot consecrate.
How did Archbishop Viganò comment on the current show trial?
“I therefore wish to make it clear that I did not go to the Vatican [20 and 28 June] … and that I have not delivered any statement or document in my defence to the Dicastery, whose authority I do not recognise, nor do I recognise the authority of its Prefect, nor do I recognise the authority of the one who appointed him.”
