MZTV 1513: This Old-Testament Prophet Guy MOCKS Our Happiness in Christ

Those who want to push law upon justified people are incredulous that we are so free, that we actually trust the grace that has come to us through the sacrifice of Christ. They mock our freedom. They mock our happiness. They mock our belief in and reliance upon the glorious declaration of Paul: “Happy the man to whom the Lord by no means should be reckoning sin!” (Romans 4:8)

This happiness is unavailable to the Old Testament prophet-types who constantly wring their hands over sin and over our failure to curb our flesh in ways pleasing to THEM.

“Sorry about that, Old Testament Prophet-Type. We're too busy praising and celebrating Christ.”

But indeed, these Old Testament Prophet-types act as though and preach as though the cross of Christ never occurred. You think I’m kidding? Wait until you hear this.
